LOVE BITES AND SO DO I
Crimson lips wrapped around a plastic black straw, the heavy scent of rum traveling to the female's nostrils as Coca-Cola carbonation washed across her taste buds and sent a warm sensation running down her throat. Her frail fingers of the opposing hand were wrapped tightly around the neck of a sleek black guitar, black nails resting against the mahogany as she took a few more sips of her medicine. The dimly lit room was filled with the odor of cigarettes both burning and previously spent, small coulds of inspiration drifting upward from the two toned cyllinders. At the moment, the awkward and lankly female was the only one on her feet, the rest of the band lazing back into the stained black couch cushions, or staring down into the depths of a snare drum like her completely stoned drummer. Arron Vorhees' tongue snaked from between her lips, moistening them before just as quickly flickering back beneath her pearly teeth in time for her eyes to narrow in disapproval. One word that could be used to describe the female would be meticulous, or to put it less eloquently, anal. When she found her muse to be flapping it's wings and hovering above her head she expected all parties to be completely on board and ready to ooze their creative juices into her mind and seep into her brain as means of creating their next masterpiece. "Come on, guys. Fucking work with me." For such an attractive young woman, she had a mouth like the tail of a scorpion, harsh words that could pierce through you like poison and leave you completely under her control.
She tossed her endless silvery hair out of her face, her dangerously blue eyes peeking out from behind shades of black shadow that hid the dark sleepless circles beneath her eyes. Noir of course seemed to be the first to find interest, the unusual male straightening up and staring down at the lines of a blank notebook page as if they were mocking him. Her eyes slipped closed and she inhaled slowly through her nostrils, placing the glass down on the table and biting down on her lip as she tried to invision the words dancing before her eyes. With her fingers wrapping around the frets once more, she strummed her guitar twice, the distorted sound leaking through the speakers as she stomped her foot on a bright orange pedal with several faded stickers decorating it's beaten face. The words were so close that she could practically taste them on the tip of her tongue, begging to be freed into the world where they could be recorded and heard by thousands. Those perfect words, however, vanished into thin air when she sense a presence in front of her, her eyes flickering opened to reveal the rather thin, grinning form of what could be defined loosely as her best friend. This particular scene had played out thousands of times, him bounding in and nearly knocking her over with his boyish nature, playing with the ends of her hair and making every single other member of the group lose their focus, not that they were focused now to begin with. "Shai, not now." Arron said sternly in a voice that sounded more like she was trying to train her dog than talk to an actual human being.
Out of the corner of her eye she could have sworn she had seen Noir shift uncomfortably, the older male leaning back once more and pretending that he was completely immersed in the text message that he was apparently responding to but she knew better. The problem was Shai. Reaching out, the fluffed the male's hair and couldn't help but allow a small grin to break through her stony exterior, her teeth once again finding themselves sinking down into her bottom lip. "Come on, not now. We're trying to write." As if to prove her point she smashed her pick down against the strings, the sounds of a slightly mistuned G chord exploding through the silence that had taken over the group. Groaning, she immediately begin to twist the guilty peg, listening hard as she tried to match the tone perfectly to what she believed that it should be. Once again, meticulous. Anal. Glancing up, her eyes narrowed, realizing that yet again he had failed to find somewhere else to play, and was still standing there and staring at her, causing her to feel extremely uneasy. "What?" Arron asked in a tone that was far more harsh than she had intended, and immediately upon the words leaving her lips she cast him an apologetic glance, though honestly, she wasn't truely all that sorry.
