So Carson had decided to finally get up the nerve to ask Gabe out on an adventure to an amusement park. To be honest she had been rather nervous around him after the party a couple nights back. She had thoroughly enjoyed the time they had spent together, and she would be lying if she said she hated falling asleep on his shoulder. Not to mention she was a little awed by the fact he had put her in her bunk and tucked her in. Carson had never been one to really want male attention, but the fact he was so sweet about everything had really started to win her over. Her ex, and band mate had been that way, but was extremely suffocating about it. The best way Carson could explain the feeling to someone else would to be that her ex was like a loaded brownie cake, smothered in chocolate syrup, served with a side of moose track ice cream. However Gabe was more like confetti cake, with sprinkles on the top. A little sweetness went a long way, too much and you were sick. Carson laughed at the thought, not really caring that her drummer was sitting ten feet away from her. Carson had managed to get up the nerve last night to send Gabe a text.
She hadnt spoken to him since she had fallen asleep on the couch that night. Partially because she was nervous about her new found feelings, and fairly busy with tour life as well. But the note he had left her from the other night had caught her attention, and thus led her to sending the invite. Carson had paced back and forth that night, constantly looking over at her phone to see if it might be blinking with an alert. Carson had finally called it a night, when it was nearly one in the morning and she had no reply. But before falling asleep she sent on last text to Gabe asking him to meet her at the amusement park at 8pm the following day by the ferris wheel. Carson had also stated that she would wait for him for about a half hour, and that if he didnt show she wasnt too dense to take a hint. Carson was usually rather confident, but when it came to her new friend she was faking her way through most of it. She was intimidated by Gabe now, and she was quite sure how to shake that feeling. Carson had woke up this morning with the hope of having a reply, but her phone remained void of any texts from Gabe.
The bubbly blonde did her best to keep positive, and went through the routine of her day. After finishing band practice around six she had come back to the bus for a shower and change. She showered rather quickly not wanting to be late for the night she had planned. She dried her hair, ran a straightener through it, applied her make up, and began attacking her closet for an outfit. As she shifted through her close, she sighed... why was she such a tom boy in the clothing department. Lesbians liked girls that dressed like boys, but boys surely didnt like girls who dressed like them... what appeal was that?! With a groan she decided to track down one of her female crew members and ask for some help. After finding one, they began going through the crew members closet. The crew member suggested several tops, but Carson kept declining them before finally settling on a a black rose and skeleton one. She thanked her fellow crew member before throwing the top on along with her black skinning jeans. She looked in the mirror, satisfied with her appearance and grabbed her dads keys. Carson had somewhat lied to her father about what she had needed the truck keys for, but he'd forgive her later if he ever found out.
Carson hopped in the black old truck, before driving out of the venue and towards the amusement park on the other side of the city. Once she arrived at the park, she parked the truck, hopped out and made her way towards the entrance. Once inside she was stopped by a few fans, signed some things, and took a couple of pictures. Once freed from the fans needs she made her way towards the Ferris wheel. She stood a little ways in front of it, doing her best not to seem too awkward as the countdown began. Carson really hoped her would show up, after all she would feel like a complete idiot if he left her there waiting.

she's got you high [style=font-family: courier new; font-size: 9px; text-transform: uppercase; letter-spacing: 2px; margin-top: -3px;]and you don't even know yet [/style] [/style][style=background-color: white; width: 270px; border-right: solid 100px #2B4F81; font-family: arial narrow; font-size: 10px; color: #444444; padding: 15px; text-align: justify; height: 150px; overflow: auto;]Gabe was an idiot. After spending a perfect night with a girl that he was quickly realizing he had an enormous crush on, he'd gone and lost his phone. What if she called him? Or texted him? No doubt she would. And he had been so busy the past few days that he hadn't even run into the blonde around the tour grounds. What if she thought he was ignoring her? He hoped to whatever higher power existed that Carson would realize he had a lot on his plate. Because how could he just avoid her after such a nice night?
After she'd fallen asleep on his shoulder, Gabe had picked her up and tucked her into her bunk. She had consumed a fair bit of alcohol, and he assumed sleeping it off would be best for her. Once Carson was all settled, he had parked himself on The Cherry Bomb's couch, knowing that he didn't want to walk in on whatever orgy was currently happening on his own bus. It wasn't exactly comfortable, but he didn't want to climb into the bunk next to Carson for several reasons. The first of them being that he didn't want to wake her, and the last being he didn't quite feel ready to be sleeping next to her, as much as he wanted to. The couch wasn't so bad in the end, as it woke him up early, just in time for him to leave for band practice. He had no idea how his band members were going to cope with such an early rise after partying all night, but Gabe knew they'd show up. They always did. Though he had intended to cook Carson breakfast, upon seeing that she was still asleep, he left her a note, telling her where he was and that he'd honestly enjoyed his night.
He also told her to text him when she wanted to hang out again, which was going to be hard for her to do when Gabe had lost his phone. He didn't even remember where he had it last. Perhaps he had left it on Carson's bus? Gabe didn't know, but he was completely sure that he had it after that, since he had been texting Jake about something or another. It was a couple of days later when his phone finally turned up. He had gone to see Jake when his friend handed him his phone, stating he'd left it there when they were having drinks the other night. Reading the text from Carson, Gabe cancelled his plan with his mate, and had instead rushed to the nearest bus stop to make his way to the amusement park.
Which was where he was now. Carson had told him to meet her by the Ferris Wheel, which was impossible to miss since it towered over the majority of the park. He arrived there, out of breath, his eyes scanning the crowd for any sign of his blonde friend. It took him a while, but eventually he found her. Striding up to her, a goofy grin on his face, Gabe waved. "Sorry, I didn't get your text until this afternoon." he said when he was close enough, still trying to catch his breath. "Jake had my phone." Gabe shrugged, looking around them for a moment before returning his attention to the beautiful girl before him. Unsure of whether or not he should hug her, Gabe just offered her another grin. "How've you been?"

Carson had sat there nervously looking at her phone every couple of minutes. A frown soon over took her features when she realized she had been sitting there twenty minutes. Carson couldn't believe she had been so foolish, so stupid. How could someone as awesome as Gabe ever want to be around someone like her. She was too young, too immature to ever have something truly in common with him. Maybe he had only tolerated her out of pity, after all he knew how much she hated being treated like the little kid she was. Carson sighed, biting her lower lip as she looked down at her feet. ,maybe she should save herself some embarrassment and not even bother sitting here any long. Carson took a deep breath as she tried to collect herself. Get herself together enough to move, and have the courage never to send another text his direction. Carson was about to walk away when she heard someone run up near her. The blonde turned her head, and was somewhat shocked to see Gabe. So much so she couldn't even utter a response in his direction at first.
Carson had been so sure he had stood her up, yet here he was out of breath and rambling off excuses. "Oh.." Carson replied, blushing a little bit out of embarrassment. She knew she had sent several somewhat desperate text messages, the last on being the worst of the batch. "Ugh, I feel so stupid now for blowing up your phone.." Carson said forcing a nervous smile as she ran a hand through her long light blonde hair. "Just delete them." she said with a laugh. Carson didn't hesitate like Gabe did, and soon leaned in, wrapping her arms around him and giving him a friendly hug. "Better now." she said with a warm smile as she looked up at him. Moments later she released him from the hug and looked around the amusement park. Carson wasn't sure what they should do first, so she took a moment to take everything in. Though once she spotted a pretty decent roller coaster she grinned. "Come on." she said with a warm smile before turning and heading off towards the direction of the coaster.
Unlike before Carson did not reach for Gabe's hand. Although she was happy he had decided to come, she still wasn't sure what to think. Carson didn't want to feel overpowering or too pushy with her actions. In all honesty hugging people, holding hands and cuddling were the norm. She did that with everyone regardless of what they thought. But when it came to Gabe she was truly nervous about the impression she left on him, and what he thought about her in general. The last thing she wanted to do was make a loser out of herself in front of him. Thus she restrained herself from doing some of the most natural behaviors, and decided for once to let him take the lead. If he wanted to hold her hand he had to reach for it, if he wanted a hug he was going to have to pull her in, and if he wanted to cuddle he was going to have to be the one to snuggle up after she had already fallen asleep. Carson knew she had to back off a bit, if she was every going to figure out what was going on in that head of his.
Carson smiled over at him as they waited in line. "Do you like coasters?" she asked curiously as she leaned against the rail and faced him. The Irish girl loved roller coasters, mostly because she had absolutely no control while on them, and they made her just a wee bit scared. "I think my favorite ride are those ones that pull you really high up, and then they drop.. Those are fucking intense." she said, the smile on her face only growing bigger as they talked. Carson had gone through a lot of boy crazy moments while on tour. Hell it seemed like every other day she was talking about a completely different one to Dallas. But for some reason Gabe had been in the fore front of her thoughts since their last night together. She was so enamored by him that she hadn't dared say a signal word about how she felt to anyone. The last thing she wanted to do was run him off.

When his eyes had first found her, she looked impatient, and he was glad he had arrived when he had. If she thought he had stood her up... Gabe wouldn't have been able to forgive himself for it. Yes, Jake had his phone, but that wouldn't have happened if Gabe hadn't been so careless with his possessions.
He felt himself grin as Carson told she felt better now, assuming it was because he had finally shown up. "Why? I'm looking forward to reading them..." Gabe chuckled, his voice low. He hadn't managed to read all of Carson's texts on the trip over, but he had seen that there were quite a few. It had made him laugh. Could she be any more adorable? Despite his hesitancy to hug her, Carson wrapped her arms around Gabe and his grin only widened more. He had been a little afraid of doing it himself, simply because he was about as nervous as he had ever been, but as soon as he felt Carson's arms around him, he hugged her back, holding her tightly. When she released him and made no move to hold his hand, Gabe did the honors, lacing his fingers through hers gently but firmly. It was perhaps the first time he had made the first move, but he was confident Carson wouldn't pull away. How often had she held his hand, anyway? It was about time he grew a pair and started to show Car how much he liked her. He let Carson lead them to the back of the queue, his hand still holding hers. Looking up at the one Carson had chosen to go on first, Gabe felt himself laugh. "I love them." he said honestly. "I hope they're not too much for you." He raised an eyebrow, listening to Carson talk about her favorite kind of rides. "Yeah, they're awesome." He agreed, looking up at the coaster before them. The truth was, though, that he was preoccupied. His brain was elsewhere, and while there was nowhere else he would rather be, Gabe couldn't "Look, I..." He started, only to lose confidence, and let himself trail off. "I was wondering if..." With his free hand, he reached out to grab Carson's other hand, trying to ground himself and find some focus. It was impossible to do, and all he could think about was how much his palms must be sweating. "DoyouwantedtogototheGoldenGodAwardswithme?" It came out in a rush, and Gabe could have shot himself. He hoped Carson had understood him, but he was standing rather close to her, so she must have at least heard him. "As my date." he clarified. "I wanted to ask before I forgot..." With a shrug, Gabe's expression quickly became sheepish. He was terrible at these things, and he had no idea whether or not asking Carson in the queue for the roller coaster was the right way to go about it. But it was done now, and while waiting for her answer was agony, Gabe could sleep knowing he had tried. [/div]

Carson just blushed when Gabe said he was looking forward to reading her text messages. She really hoped that she might be able to convince him to delete them, after all they sounded so needy and clingy. Carson was a lot of things, but clingy wasn't something she liked to be called. Sure she liked the attention of the people around her, but she certainly didn't expect to go everywhere with them, or be with them twenty four seven. Carson did her best to force a smile, but the nervousness of him reading those texts were still very apparent. "Couldn't you spare me some embarrassment and just delete them?" she said letting her eyes lock on him as an over exaggerated pout crossed her lips. Carson hoped that he would agree and they could just forget all about her silly texts. Carson rested her head against his chest as he hugged her back. She couldn't help but to enjoy the sensation of his warm body and his scent. It was nice to be held by him, and when there hug broke she had to do her best not to frown. Though when he took her hand, all thoughts of frowning were gone. She gave him a gentle squeeze for reassurance before smiling.
"Pssh please. I'm the queen of coasters." she said with a playful wink. Carson loved anything that went really fast and made sharp turns. Maybe that was due to her mother being such a reckless driver when she was younger. Growing up like you were in a fast in furious movie either made you very scared of fast movement, or you embraced it like an adrenalin junky. "We should find one of those next." she said happily, her smile only growing until he began to speak once more. What on earth was he trying to say, his nervousness was actually making her a bit unnerved as well. When he grabbed her other hand and he looked up into his feature she gave him a very concerned and confused look. "Everything alright, Gabe." she somewhat cut him off as concern washed over her vocals. Had something bad happened, was he about to tell her something she may have not wanted to hear? But when he finally managed to get his words out, she laughed. Her laugh wasn't the 'you have to be kidding me' insulting type, nor was it a nervous 'i don't want to.' No her laugh was a happy one. "Gabe your so fucking adorable." she said happily, dropping his hands, only to wrap her arms around his neck.
She allowed her beautiful eyes to lock onto his, as the happy smile on her lips grew. "I would love to." she said with a happy giggle. She made no motion to move from the position she was in. Although she was somewhat hoping that Gabe would have take his opportunity to kiss her if he wanted, Carson grew rather impatient. So in typical Carson fashion she took the lead from him. The Irish blonde pushed herself up on her tippy toes, something she had to do thanks to her short stature, and pressed her soft lips against his own. Carson didn't care if he shoved her off, no in the slightest. She had wanted to do this for quite some time, and even if he rejected her, at least she got her kiss.
