For the last few days, all Aengus had been doing was drinking and fucking - and, when he thought about it, it only made him want to drink and fuck more because he was so ashamed of himself. It a vicious cycle and he knew he had to get out of it. Running into Clio and finding out that he was stuck with her was one thing, but then finding out that she held no grudge against him for what he did only made things worse. Most people would take Clio's acceptance as a good thing an embrace it, but honestly, all Aengus felt was more disgust for himself. How could she possibly forgive him for something that he would never forgive himself for? She must have been absolutely stupid to do such a thing, either that or just an amazing person. In all honesty, as much as Aengus wanted to believe the first, he knew that she was the latter. It had been difficult, having her being so close and yet she was completely out of his reach - in his mind, at least. There waqs no way that their relationship could have been the same as it was before, no way things could be as they once were.
It was about time Aengus snapped some sense into himself; he knew he couldn't keep going on the way he was - he was a professional, damnit! Putting on a plain white v-neck, some cacky shorts and a pair of sandals, he headed out towards the nearest beach. The salt water would clear his head, he knew that. Of course, the lakes in scottland were fresh water, but it was the same principal, nothing soothed him like being near water.
The walk itself was only twenty minutes and, just that was already starting to make him feel a tad bit better about everything. All he needed was some fresh air and different surroundings; the tour area could be so cramped and almost claustriphobic and he felt trapped within himself, with no where to go. The fresh, open air was definitely what he needed to feel like himself again and, by the time he reached the beach, he knew he would be going for these walks more often. Walking along the beach, he started to realize just how much he missed his long, blond hair. He liked the way it felt when the wind ran through it, as homoerotic as that could sound. (Aengus was totally secrue with his sexuality, knowing that he loved women but also accepted people who enojyed the same gender as themselves.) Walking closer to the water's edge, he took off his sandals and walked up to his shins through the water. It was cold, there was no doubt about that, but it also refreshed him and woke him up a little, making everything seem as though it was on pause. |

words // 468 // outfit // clicky // tagged // aengus/char You know that you are not alone, N E E D Y O U L I K E W A T E R I N M Y L U N G S The last few days had been stressful for Clio, between dealing with her family's constant phone calls for updates on the whole Jason/German stripper deal and the whole finding Aengus who didn't want to talk to her situation. She was a mess and barely slept. She never slept to begin with but it was just getting worse. Her insomnia was just getting worse as the days went on till she knew she looked like shit and kept trying to sleep. She had gotten some finally though and it was a good solid ten hours of sleep. It was just what she needed. She had woken up, refreshed. Knowing that she would be tired though, in time and she hated it. Running a hand through her hair as she sat up in her bunk, trying to figure out what to do. She simply just wanted to take a walk. A walk would be nice. It would help her wake up a bit more than she already was. Hopping off of the bed, Clio stood there as she went through her bag, pulling out a plain blue and white striped tank top along with a pair of shorts. Once she was done getting dress. Clio had slipped on a pair of flats and pulled her hair up and out of her face. Slipping a pair of sunglasses over her eyes and grabbing her sketchbook and her pencils, slipping them into her large tote bag along with her phone and throwing it over her shoulder. She let out a short sigh as she grabbed her ipod and tucked the ear buds in her ears, already pressing play on the song she wanted and moving through the bus, walking down the steps and pushing door open and slipping out, closing the door with a slam.
Clio made her way out of the tour bus parking lot and towards the beach she had recently visiting. With Brand New playing in her eyes and her new found energy the walk seemed to fly by as she finally approached the beach and kicked off her shoes, slipping them into the tote bag as walked across the sand and finally found a place to sit. Pulling out her sketch book and pencils. She looked up at the ocean and noticed a figure standing there and she sighed, a little too loudly at it. She knew exactly who it was and now she felt the need to go back to sleep coming back. She sat there as she ducked her head a bit, grabbing a pencil and started sketching out whatever came to her mind, which happened to be the ocean and the figure standing there. Hopefully he wouldn't notice her...Or maybe he would. She didn't know what the hell she wanted him to do. notes // omgsocute |

With his eyes locked on the ocean, he realized just how calm it seemed today, how easy it was or him to see the reflection of the sun and how it sparkled off the subtle waves. He truly felt at ease at the ocean's edge, like nothing could really ruin the pure thoughts he had that ran through his head. They were empty, meaningless thoughts, the type of thoughts that ran through a person's mind when they left their life behind for that moment, just to have some peace and quiet. Closing his eyes, he put his hands in his pockets and drew in a deep breath, letting the fresh, salty air fill him until the point of bursting. God, it smelled so good. Opening his eyes, he gave himself a small, genuine smile; something he hadn't done in, what felt like, ages. Looking down at his feet, he took a couple of steps back, watching he sand become disturbed underneath. The sight amused him somewhat and he started to purposefully move his feet around for a moment or so before he watched the sand settle back to where it had been lying before.
Finally, after his feet had gone numb, he figured it was time that he walk out of the water and start to head back along the beach and towards the tour site once more. Turning around, he froze, seeing a girl on a rock who he knew the moment he laid eyes on her. Why was she showing up everywhere he was? Of course, she was his best friend and they usually did the same sort of things to clear their heads. It was that closeness and similarity that made his curse under his breath, "Lord almighty..." he groaned before he put his sandals on the ground, quickly washed off both individual feet before sldiing them into the sandals themselves. It was then that he started walking towards her, knowing that he didn't have to, but he had the urge to be near her. As hard as he tried to forget that she was even in the same state as him, he couldn't deny the attraction he felt towards her.
Walking right up to her, he looked down and ran a hand through his hair, "Are you stalking me?" he asked, though his voice did shine through a tad bit of teasing, "You know my autograph isna worth nothin', right?" he continued before he gave her the first smile he'd given her since she showed up. |

words // 468 // outfit // clicky // tagged // aengus/char You know that you are not alone, N E E D Y O U L I K E W A T E R I N M Y L U N G S The music playing her in ears seemed to drown out her thoughts and she welcomed that silence though. She loved music. She loved the fact that it could release her from the chaos in her mind. She ran a hand through her hair again, looking down at the drawing, picking another pencil from the pile and kept drawing. He wouldn't notice her right? With her luck he would. He would probably get angry at her. She just kept her mouth shut and her eyes low. Running a hand through her hair again, she tucked it behind her ear. Clio chewed on the inside of her cheek as she changed the song and looked up, realizing that he was still sounding there, meaning he hadn't seen her yet. A wave of relief washed over her as she kept sketching again.
To be honest, she wanted to be out there with him, but she knew that it was not going to happen. Not with the way they happened to be going. She wished it was all different that everything was different. Of course, if it had been different he would of probably been married by now and she would be pining after someone who wouldn't return her feelings and that was just shook. Clio couldn't help but glance up again. She looked straight at him as he started walking towards her. She bit down on her bottom lip as she tugged out her ear buds and went back to drawing. If he was going to say anything she might as well hear it.
She heard his voice and looked up, placing her pencil down in the pile and also running a hand through her hair again. "You know...you are essentially stalking me...I've been to this beach like eighty times already." She told him, forcing out a small smile as she closed the book and set it to the side. It was the first time that he didn't have something mean to say to her. "Eh, maybe it will be one day when they proclaim you the famous manager of the young sounds." She joked, looking at the ocean. notes // omgsocute |

All the while that Aengus was getting lost in the ocean, he had a sense that someone he knew was nearby. Much to his dismay and delight, he was right. He knew he had been nothing but horrible to Clio, especially when she didn't deserve it and, in all honestym he felt terrible. However, at the same time, all of the emotions he felt towards her were almost too hard to put a finger on; she made him so happy to see her, but also upset just becuase of what she brought with her. As much as he didn't want to have those memories connected to her, they were because she was the person he felt most ashamed to be around. She didn't need to be subjected to his company; to a woman beater like himself. The fact that she had admitted she didn't care made it only that much worse, if only because now the only person left to forgive was himself. That was a lot to take in and Aengus didn't know if he would be able to do it on his own or if the relationship between him and Clio could be saved.
While walking towards her, all of those thoughts whirled around in his head, almost causing him to feel somewhat dizzy. It all didn't matter though, because the second he spoke to her, everything cleared out and it was just him and Clio having a conversation. Hearing her soeak, he smirked at her and decided to take a seat beside her, leaning back on his elbows as he looked over towards her, "Och, no. You've been stalking me, miss Clio." he stated with a cocky grin before her next words made him laugh, "Aye, with the rate those girls are goin', I may as well just sign it. You'll have a million bucks in your hand before the weeks up." he joked before he let his laughter die down and the silence form between them. After a couple of moments, he turned to look at her again, "Clio..." he started before he thought of how to exactly word what was going through his mind, "I'm sorry I've been so cold t'ward ye." he started before he looked away, "I just didna know what to do with meself when I saw ye." his voice was soft spoken, holding nothing but truth within it, "I ran away mostly because I couldna stand the sight of shame on yer face." he turned back to look at her, "'Cause that was the thing tha' scared me the most...was to shame you." he finished before he looked away from her and towards the ocean, hoping she'd take his apology. |

words // 468 // outfit // clicky // tagged // aengus/char You know that you are not alone, N E E D Y O U L I K E W A T E R I N M Y L U N G S Clio didn't really know how to react to the whole Aengus deal other than sitting in her bus and sulking for a while before becoming a social human being. It wasn't like she put much effort into it though. She had been spending her time alone though, trying to sleep and put h thoughts straight. She didn't want them to be mixed up by what he said. Did he want her to hate him? Because she couldn't possiby do that. She never could even after everything. That was the problem with Clio. She was probably too forgiving or something or maybe she was just beating herself up over nothing. She shouldn't of let him get to her like that as worried as she was. She figured if he didn't want her in his life he should of just left the tour of something if he really wanted to avoid her.
While he was approaching, a million thoughts had been running through her mind and she couldn't make sense of any of them and to be honest she just wanted her thoughts to clear and when he got closer to her, they finally died down in her head, disappearing as he sat down next to her. She would be lying if she said she wasn't shocked that he actually sat down next to her and they were having some sort of a normal conversation. It was weird to her, because just a few days ago he had been pushing her away, telling her to not talk to him. Clio could only laugh softly and shake her head. "Totally." She said pausing for a moment to sit back a little. "A million bucks? That might help with the way my brothers cleaned me out recently." She said with another soft laugh. A silence settled between them. It was comfortable, well to her at least and she wasn't sure what to say now. Well, there was a few things she could say. But to be honest, she knew she couldn't say them. That's when he started speaking and she turned to look at him, tearing her stare away from the ocean. When he finished she didn't know what to say really, or to be happy about it. She sighed softly, nodding her head. "It's fine Aengus." She said to him, her voice a bit low. "I'm sorry...I...didn't just give you space." She said as she pulled her knees to her chest.. notes // omgsocute |

It had been too long since the two of them had been able to open up like this with one another; it saddened him at the thought - they were supposed to be best friends. They had been for years before all hell broke loose and Aengus had to ditch without a word. Yes. He had to. There was no way he would be able to show his face in New York again, not after what horrifying deed he had done to a woman who, even though she may have deserved some things done to her, should never have been attacked the way Aengus did. It was still hard for him, accepting the whole thing for what it was, and, most of the time, he'd wake up from nightmares that haunted his sleep. But he pushed through and tried to keep a level head about everything. Clio had made it difficult, but he now realized that she was going to be his rock, his foundation to help him get through whatever he needed to to get better.
After he had poured his heart out to her, admitting everything he was most scared of, when it came to her, he felt sweet relief. It was as though a boulder had rolled off his shoulders and he could feel them wanting to raise up to his ears. Shaking his head at her words, he looked right at her, "No, ye had every right to do what ye did. I thank ye for it." he explained and leaned forward, resting his eblows on his knees, "I needed a good kick in the head." he added and chuckled as he looked at her, "Ye were always the best when it came to knockin' some scene into me." he admitted before he rested his head on he shoulder, "Thank ye, Clio..." he murmured before he lifted his head and smiled at her. |

words // 468 // outfit // clicky // tagged // aengus/char You know that you are not alone, N E E D Y O U L I K E W A T E R I N M Y L U N G S Clio hoped that their relationship would o back to normal. That was what she wanted right? OF course, she wanted it all to be back to normal. Maybe not completely normal, maybe she had wanted something more but she knew she would have to work on their friendship getting back in order and that would be just sufficient for her. It had been keeping her away for days, the thoughts of them actually being friends again, her head had been all over the place because of it. But now she thought she could actually concentrate on her work maybe, while trying to help Aengus through anything that he needed help with. She could multitask no problem and she knew to her, he would come first despite the fact that he shouldn't have. But it was something she would never admit to anyone. She had her secrets and those were for herself. She didn't want to say anything that could potentially fuck up their friendship again, not when she just got him back.
She wondered what would happen now. That he had said everything to her and she had told him it's okay. She didn't know how many times she was going to have to tell him that but she didn't mind it. She just smiled at him and laughed quietly as he rested his head on her shoulder. "Well, I guess that's a good thing then. Thought I was being too stubborn for my own good again." The whole time that Aengus had been on the tour, he had slowly started to believe that he was getting better; he believed that he could go back to his normal self. Of course, he would have to forget those he left behind in New York, Clio being one of the originals that he wanted to forget the fastest. She was too important to him for him to close his eyes and picture that look of disgusted and disappointment on her face. However, now that she was here, with him and he had let her back in, he felt even better than ever. He had missed Clio, there was no doubt about that - she was pretty much the reason his whole world didn't fall apart after what had happened. In honesty, now that he was thinking about how he had pushed her was, he felt like a damned fool. How could he be so stupid? Of course he needed Clio near him, he needed her to be his rock - his foundation. If he wanted to get anywhere, he would need actual support form someone who knew all of the facts. Evan didn't count in his mind, all they did was fuck to get the frustration out - that's it. Clio was there so that he could actually talk to someone, it was actually kind of refreshing.
Her words caused a deep, genuine chuckle to leave his lips and, as he turned to face her, he shook his head, "Clio, you're always too stubborn for your own good." he teased before he tucked a piece of blond hair behind her cheek, "No Clio, I mean it." he stated before she bumped his knee, "I don't know why I just up and left, I should have at least told you. You're probably the only person who could make me better, anyways." he stated before he shrugged and turned back to look at the ocean in front of them, "How long have you been looking for me?" he asked, still not looking at her, seeing as he was slightly entranced by the ocean. |

words // 468 // outfit // clicky // tagged // aengus/char You know that you are not alone, N E E D Y O U L I K E W A T E R I N M Y L U N G S Part of Clio felt like she was lucky that she never stopped looking. She didn't though. She didn't want to stop looking and well looked what happened. It seem to end up in good spirits well, it wasn't till now. But she guessed he had realized that she didn't think ill of him and that she was just trying to help him. That's all she wanted to do was help. As she hoped, he came back to her and she was relieved by it. She was scared she had lost him forever. The only friend she really had next to Maxine. It was weird, when he left. She felt like she had no one else to talk to. She acted fine but she was up all night thinking about him and everything. Scary to think what would of happened if she had never found him. She wouldn't get a wink of sleep, although she hadn't been getting that much when she did run into him. Maybe it'd be better now, or not. She didn't know.
Clio smiled and shook her head a little, her eyes staring down at the sand as he moved her hair. "Ah it's my fatal flaw, being too stubborn." She said, laughing softly. The corners of her lips lifted slightly as he spoke. "It's fine. I can't make everything better though." She sighed, playing with the sand a little bit. She was distracted by it, only slightly, half of her mind was on the sand the other half was on Aengus as he spoke. "Since after you left. I was hoping this tour would...take you off of my mind. Guess not." She shrugged her shoulders, not knowing what else to say. ... notes // omgsocute |

When Anegus had first come onto the tour, he didn't really know what he was doing; all he knew was that he needed to keep a group of girls in line and make sure that they got to their appointments. However, now that he had been doing it for a while, he realized just how much of a hassle the whole thing was and he almost wished he hadn't joined the tour. There was so much to worry about with less than half the pay he would be making if he were back in New York, working in his office tower. He had to admit, the atmosphere was way better for him, though; everyone seemed so laid back and calm. Well, except for Axel, but he knew what it was like to handle such a big project and didn't give him any flack for it. Having been in Axel's position, he even gave him pointers whenever they were hanging out with one another, which was a lot seeing a the band managers had to go to all of the tour staff meetings and such. Luckily for Aengus, Axel was always open to suggestions and had actually taken a load off himself because of Aengus.
Chuckling along with her, he smirked and shook his head, "I highly doubt that your stubbornness is a flaw." he explained before he nodded softly, "I mean, if ye werenna so bloody stubborn, you wouldna found me, now would ye?" he asked and smirked softly before she spoke of how she thought the tour would take him off her mind and he furrowed his eyebrows, "I'm sorry, Clio. Again, I just figured it's be best for all of us, if I had just left." he explained before he looked right at her, his eyes showing truth within them, "How about I make it up to you?" he asked before he stood up, dusting off his pants befre he put a hand out for her to grab and stand up with, "I"ll take ye for some ice cream, how's that sound?" he teased and chuckled again. |

For one thing, she never stopped loving being a media designer. She didn't really care that she wasn't at MTV now. Well, now that she had found Aengus. It was sorta something that made this tour a bit more bearable. Even if he did hate her for it the first few days. Now she figured things would get better. But she was afraid that she would lose him again and to be honest, Clio didn't think she could handle that again really. He was someone that she couldn't bear to lose again. She'd probably end up quitting the tour if he hated her again. She didn't want him to hate her again, not at all. But she never knew with him. She thought he'd be happy when she first saw him but that didn't seem to be the case. Well, now she assumed that she was happy. She tried to think about other things though, but she couldn't. She could just think about him. It was weird, that was all she thought about. <p> Clio shook her head. "I have about a few family members that would tell you otherwise." She said, shaking her head. Knowing her parents and her siblings would agree that Clio's stubbornness would be a flaw because as a child she nearly drove them crazy with it. Clio just shook her head again.
